Bellisse

Especially for Healthcare Providers

Although arm and leg lymphedema is well-documented and extensively-researched, chest and breast lymphedema is an underdiagnosed, underserved and, according to anecdotal reports from health care providers, rapidly increasing problem.

At Bellisse®, our mission is to help women with chest and breast lymphedema not only by creating a bra designed to increase their comfort and mobility, but also by sharing with you, their caregiver, the information we’ve gathered about the condition. Accordingly, this section of our web site contains a "Resources" page that contains links to articles, support groups, and case histories. If you would like us to notify you whenever we find out about new research and treatment advances or make other updates to the web site, please sign up for our email notification list. (We promise we won't give out your information to anyone else!)

On our "Who We Are" page, we’ve also included the transcript of a recent interview with Bellisse® co-founder Lesli Bell, a practicing physical therapist who specializes in treating women with chest and breast lymphedema.

Information and research on chest and breast lymphedema are sparse, so the more we share our knowledge and experience with one another, the better we can serve our patients! If you would like to continue the dialogue with Lesli, know of a link we should include on our "Resources" page, or would like to send us a case history or treatment story, please email us at .

Lymphedema therapist and Bellisse® co-founder Lesli Bell often travels to clinics and conferences around the country. Please or call us at 1-877-273-1683 if you'd like her to provide an in-service at your clinic or store — we'll do our best to arrange it! Visit here for more information regarding our in-service presentation.
