The Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act - Vital Information for Lymphedema Patients and Their Caregivers! |

The Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act went into
effect nearly five years ago, but many breast cancer
survivors still don't know about it. We want to make
sure they do, because it has important implications for
women suffering from breast-cancer related
lymphedema.
According to the Act, any woman who receives benefits
from her insurance company for a medically necessary
mastectomy, and who elects breast reconstruction, is
also entitled to coverage for the physical complications
of mastectomy - including lymphedema.

EU under the Community Registered Design Number
52378-0001. This will facilitate possible sales to
Europe, where MLD and other techniques for treating
lymphedema were developed.

Woman explores the growing perception that
breast cancer and its treatment have become an
"industry", with survivorship a distinct "culture" - and
a lucrative marketing opportunity. "Tangled Up in Pink"

Bellisse recently found out about a terrific organization
called "Shop Well With You", which helps cancer
patients and survivors find clothes that fit comfortably
and make them feel good. The Shop Well With You
website contains beauty tips and information about
ordering specialty clothing items that are designed to
respond to the needs of cancer patients and survivors.
There's even a page of clothing recommendations for
lymphedema patients.

Laundering Instructions |

Our satisfied customers have been giving us useful tips
on how to extend the life of the Compressure
Comfort® Bra by careful laundering. Before washing
the Compressure Comfort® Bra, make sure the straps
are closed so the hook and loop material won't catch
on the outer fabric. Also, close the front zipper all the
way. Although you can wash the bra in cold water
using your washing machine's delicate cycle, to help
your bra last longer, wash it by hand and then lay flat
to dry.
